5 Ingredient Protein Balls That The Entire Family Will Enjoy!

I have an extremely picky eater on my hands. He will eat a lot of things, BUT he is a snacker and is constantly asking for snacks. I blame myself because during Covid and quarantine, it was kind of an anything goes approach to keeping everyone happy. Anyone else?
So I found Healthy Height, a protein powder made specifically for kids. I am not sponsored in any way, but I tried this out for smoothies, and I'll even add it to a glass of milk to make "chocolate milk" and my kids love it.
I wanted to try out some more snacks for on the go as we are going out more to playgrounds and parks, so I made protein balls! Super easy to make and only take 5 ingredients. They can also be customized as much as you like!
Ingredients:
1/2 scoop protein powder (you can use any brand and this is optional)
1 1/2 cups natural peanut butter. I used Teddi but any kind will do. You can also use sunflower butter if you need to make it nut free, but consistency may be a little different.
1/2 cup honey
1 1/3 cups oats
1/2 cup chocolate chips.
Mix all together and form into balls. Refrigerate for one hour to chill.
These are usually good for about 3 days.
I have also added ground flax seed or chia seeds before. You can also add cocoa nibs, coconut flakes, etc. The possibilities are endless!
